A former catholic church, attached to the Liceo Marco Foscarini complex, since the current school was the convent of the Augustinian nuns Santa Caterina.

The church will host the Opening ceremony on Thursday 23 March, the Closing ceremony on Sunday 26 March, and the traditional FOSCAMUN Gala Evening on the night of Saturday 25 March.

The liceo classico europeo Marco Foscarini is a secondary school, whose main objectives are the learning and dissemination of the languages spoken in the European Union and the improvement of knowledge of the culture and history of the European peoples. It is housed in a dedicated, state-of-the-art and welcoming wing of the school, opened in 2013.

The liceo europeo will host all sessions and the General Assembly of FOSCAMUN 2023.

With its 1600 years of history, Venice is without doubt one of the most beautiful cities in Italy and the world. Historically a centre of art and commerce, it is itself a testimony to its past, a bridge between East and West. Together with its lagoon, Venice has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987.

Students from abroad will experience an entire week in Venice during FOSCAMUN, hosted by students from the Liceo Foscarini. Cultural and social activities will take place in some of the most beautiful and significant places in the city.
