WHAT IS A MUN
MUN stands for Model United Nations: it is a simulation of the debates that take place at the United Nations. An acronym for a project, a project with a goal: to bring students closer and to familiarise them with the United Nations and the art of diplomacy. Under the auspices of the UN itself, this type of event was born in the 1950s, initially only for the American university students.

FOSCAMUN
FOSCAMUN is a project initiated by Liceo classico - europeo - scientifico internazionale Marco Foscarini ten years ago. It provides an opportunity for all participants to open their horizons to new possibilities and experience an educational debate simulating what really happens in today's world. Addressing current issues, delegates and chairs deepen their understanding of important aspects regarding the world in which we live. FOSCAMUN thus enables the dissemination of culture and knowledge among young people.
The project is driven by a team of dedicated students and teachers, who invest time, effort and passion for months, sometimes for years, so that each and every FOSCAMUN participant can enjoy the best possible experience.
In addition to being an opportunity to get involved, FOSCAMUN is also great celebration of togetherness and friendship between students from all over the world. The tenth edition of FOSCAMUN will be held from 21 to 24 March 2024.
